This years FABulous event will begin with appetizers and conversation in the media center as we are serenaded by one of the many FHS musical ensembles. Then you will be escorted to a reserved section of the auditorium to hear the fine perfomances of the Concert and Symphony Bands. You will also be rewarded with a special performance of "Rhapsody in Blue" with Scott Schroeder at the piano accompanied by the superior rated FHS Wind Ensemble. The evening ends with wonderful desserts and coffee in the media center. Meet Scott Schroeder and be entertained by another musical ensemble. You will also see how far we have come with our fundraising goal of $250, 000 and what we have spent to date to benefit our students. Tickets are $30 each and will be on sale in April.
Jill Jack Benefit Concert - September 9, 2006!
Mark your calendars for September 9, 2006. Award Winning, Local Musician, Jill Jack, with Billy Brandt, will be performing a benefit concert for the Taste of Music capital campaign fund! Ticket price includes a picnic style dinner from 5:30 - 7pm, listening to warm-up band "The Fran Project Experience" at 7pm and Jill and Billy at 7:30pm. ? contact pcardelli@wowway.com subject: Jill Jack.
Tickets in advance: $20 adult, $15 student. At the door: $25 adult, $20 student. To purchase tickets: send check or money order to FSFAB, 15 Woodside Park, Pleasant Ridge, MI 48069, contact any FAB board member or stop by the Kulick Center. All proceeds go towards the purchase of marching band uniforms and other needed equipment.
Our plans are big and our fundraising goals are high-$250,000 in three years!

The first annual a "Taste of Music" was on January 26, 2006 at Ferndale High School. The Ferndale Schools Fine Arts Boosters (FSFAB) hosted a fundraising event to promote their new campaign to raise capital improvement funds for the Ferndale Schools Fine Arts. This event brought together the wonderful skills of local culinary experts with community and business leaders. We were also entertained by our talented student musicians. A wonderful time was had by all.
