The plans are set for the FABulous Night of Entertainment, coming on February 11 to the High School Auditorium.  Be sure to mark your calendars.

Both stores will donate a percentage of the amount you spend to the Fine Arts Boosters (FAB) which helps fund fine arts needs. It's easy and there's no additional cost to you. You need not have a student in the schools to be a member; all interested adults who wish to support our mission are welcome. We value your support even if you can't attend meetings or events. 11/5/2011 -   2011 STATE CHAMPIONS!!!! Ferndale High School Golden Eagle Marching Band takes 1st place in Flight III competition at the 2011 MCBA State Championship. Ferndale received a score of 86.34 and also won the caption awards for Best Music and Best Marching for their show (No) Strings Attached. Byron Center placed 2nd with a score of 85.52 and took the caption award for Best General Effect. Dewitt finished 3rd with a score of 84.58. This is Ferndale's 7th state championship in the last eight years. Congratulations to ALL THE BANDS!!! Complete scores . Free Press , Student Musician 10/30/2011 -   ON TO STATE FINALS!!! For the 20th straight year the FHS Golden Eagle Marching Band will be competing at the Michigan Competing Band Association State Finals!! Ferndale performs at 6:15pm, Saturday Nov 5th at Ford Field. Flight III begings competition at 3:45pm. Championship Schedule ,  Championship Information. State Rankings 10/29/2011 - Ferndale places 1st at Huron Valley competition. The FHS Golden Eagle Marching Band had another outstanding performance today and took first place in flight III with a score of 84.69.  The band also received the music, marching and general effect caption awards. Congratulations band!!!  Complete scores , Current State Rankings    . 10/23/2011 - Ferndale places 1st at Clarkston competition. The FHS Golden Eagle Marching Band continued their 2011 season with an outstanding performance Saturday. Ferndale scored 80.97 and captured all captions awards for music, marching and general effect. Complete scores, Current State Rankings   . 10/8/2011 -   Congratulations to the FHS Golden Eagle Marching Band for qualifying for the BOA Regional Finals today at the Pontiac Silverdome. In the preliminary round, Ferndale finished in the top 10 of all bands performing in all flights. Doors open for tonight’s finals at 6pm. 10/5/2011 -  The schedule for the Bands of America preliminary competition, for Saturday, October 8th, 2011 , is now posted. Ferndale performs at 4:00pm at the Pontiac Silverdome. Groups from Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Nebraska and Georgia will be competing. Preliminary competition begins at 11am. Preliminary Awards are at 4:45pm. The top 10 schools are invited back to perform for Finals which begin at 7:45pm.
