Mr. Elon Jamison,
Director of Bands

Mr. Elon Jamison currently directs the High School Jazz Band and became the asistant director of the High School Marching Band Fall 2002. He also directs the Middle School Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. He has been teaching in the Ferndale Public School system since Fall 1998.

Mr. Jamison received his Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education and Bassoon Performance from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Wind Conducting from Michigan State University. "Interesting Tidbit" : While one of the youngest members of the staff, Mr. Jamison has lived in the most states of the United States (seven)!
