The Ferndale High School Golden Eagle Marching Band is under the direction of Mr. Elon Jamison. Ferndale has been a member of the Michigan Competitive Band Association (MCBA) since 1989. The band has finished in the top ten each year at the MCBA State Championships since 1991, including 1st place finishes in Flight III in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011. The band has won numerous awards and honors at various parades and competitions around the state and country.
