Dear Friends, Family, Students and Colleagues:
It is with great sadness that I tender my resignation as K-12 Fine and Performing Arts Coordinator and Director of Bands in the Ferndale Public Schools. I will always deeply cherish the relationships and memories that I have developed over the last twelve years.
I am greatly thankful for all of the many educational, professional and leadership opportunities that I have had in the Ferndale Public Schools. During my career in Ferndale, I have had the pleasure to have worked with many outstanding educators and educational leaders who have been both mentors and spectacular human beings. I will miss the exceptional students, parents, boosters and families of the Ferndale Public Schools who have stuck with me through all of the challenges we have faced in creating one of the finest Fine and Performing Arts Programs in our Nation. I am most proud that the program that we have created has served, and will continue to serve, as one of the most significant life-changing educational experiences in our students lives. It is because of the devotion of the staff, students, parents and community that this program continues to thrive and impact our students so greatly.
It is with renewed enthusiasm and vigor that I embrace the challenges and opportunities I will have as Assistant Principal at Lake Shore High School. I am again blessed with the opportunity to work with an exceptional staff, colleagues and mentors. God willing, we will together improve our students enthusiasm, learning, educational opportunities and futures.
