The Ferndale Schools Fine Arts Boosters is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, formed in 2003, to support, encourage and promote any and all of the Ferndale Schools fine arts programs through parental and community involvement. FAB membership has grown every year and last year included 131 parents and community members.

• Get involved in one of the specific activities that FAB sponsors such as the annual used instrument sale, the Taste of Music capital campaign, the FAB's newly formed orchestra committee that is raising funds to specifically support that program, or volunteer to help at future events. Since its inception, the FAB organization has focused primarily on supporting the high school fine arts programs. However, as membership has grown, FAB is broadening its efforts to support the elementary and middle school programs as well.  Last year, FAB sponsored a used instrument sale at Coolidge Intermediate School to help make low-cost, good condition instruments available to beginning band and orchestra students.  In the coming year, there are several additional activities FAB would like to explore at the elementary level.  These include purchasing instruments for the general music teachers and subsidizing semi-private music lessons for beginning instrumental students. However, to develop and fund these and other fine arts programs, we need your help.
